About
“Don’t judge a man by where he is, because you don’t know how far he’s come.” –C.S. Lewis
Therapy serves as the mechanism by which one identifies the impact of incidents, while seeking to recognize the meaning one aims to take away as their work unfolds. Jeremy’s experience with disaster relief has geared him towards recognizing one’s capacity to adjust to life amidst catastrophes. He specializes in PTSD, dissociation, men’s issues, and grief, amongst other conditions.
Jeremy approaches his sessions using contemporary psychoanalytic theory and aspects of both attachment theory and Internal Family Systems to assist his work. Integral to that is the relationship between a patient and therapist that fosters reparative growth and resilience.
Jeremy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Beginning May of 2020, he will pursue a PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University.
