About
Everyone deserves to live a life filled with happiness, health, and love. Challenges may arise that are difficult to overcome. I view therapy as a way to develop better coping skills to deal with life stressors in the present, heal wounds from the past, and let go of worries of the future. Therapy can help individuals overcome barriers that stand in the way of having true happiness. I help clients gain insight by providing a supportive and caring environment, while also challenging my clients when they are ready.
Do you want to overcome these barriers? Do you want to gain insight about your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings? Do you want to be able to accept yourself for who you are? Do patterns you engage in cause you to be unhappy and interfere with your relationships?
Therapy can help you gain deep self awareness that you may not be able to achieve on your own. If you have been struggling to solve your life problems, then maybe it is time to seek the help of a professional to assist you in becoming healthy, happy, and whole.
I am a licensed psychologist specializing in maternal/reproductive/perinatal mental health especially fertility concerns, grief/bereavement/loss, relationships, life transitions, and growth from trauma. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Denver with a PhD in counseling psychology and in 2004 from the University of Scranton with a MS in community counseling.
When I am not helping others, you can find me hiking in the mountains, getting sweaty in yoga, finding my zen with meditation, loving or hating a HIIT workout, and/or spending time with my husband, son, daughter, golden retriever, and bernese mountain dog. I am an IVF warrior and the proud parent of two rainbow babies.
