About
With training at Yale, Stanford Medical School and the University of Washington, I am a Ph.D. Psychologist with over 25 years of experience, who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a proven technique that can teach you skills for dealing with your problems, quickly and without years of therapy. Through CBT, I have helped hundreds of people deal with difficult challenges, including depression, anxiety and panic, social anxiety, OCD, work issues, marriage and couples problems as well as other issues facing adults, teens and college students. I utilize a collaborative, supportive approach to teach CBT methods for changing how you think about difficult situations.
No long years of therapy, just a quick, focused approach to figuring out the key problems and learning skills to solve them. Clients tell me they like the direct, no-nonsense approach of CBT. We don't spend time analyzing your childhood (which you can't change anyway!) Instead, a skills-focused approach to rapid change.
"Is There an Equation for Happiness?" and "How to Forgive" are a few of the 60+ articles on my Psychology Lounge Blog. If you'd like to see if CBT can help you, I offer a free, 15 minute telephone consultation, just click the email link below or call me.
